Friday evening slate— Three Best Bets for F5 innings

Lopsided starting pitching matchups mean F5 plays tonight!

At The Corners is 8-2 with its Best Bets this week. Here are three more to (we hope) continue that solid run!

Seattle Mariners at Toronto Blue Jays (7:10 PM ET)

The pitching matchup is rather lopsided for this game—the Mariners’ Luis Castillo vs. the Blue Jays’ Alek Manoah. Castillo has impressive 1.52 ERA and 2.72 xERA, and he's been super solid on the mound through five starts, averaging almost six innings per outing. His 2.94 xFIP suggests some regression, and therefore, it worries me a bit, but Castillo has a very good 10.31 K/9 number (and an equally good 25.0 % K/BB number).
